Hello!
I'm Lisa.
Speech-Language Pathologist, Boy Mom, Coffee Lover & Champion for Children's Communication
Over my 25 years as a speech-language pathologist, I've witnessed many parents struggle with their child's speech practice, searching desperately for practical solutions that actually work.
Families feeling overwhelmed by the challenge of maintaining consistent practice between therapy sessions made it clear there had to be a better way.
Seeing this struggle and knowing the value of home practice, I felt driven to become a true support system for families navigating speech challenges.
I've watched countless parents feel discouraged and uncertain about helping their children at home. Despite their best intentions, busy schedules and limited guidance left them feeling stuck.
I went in search of simple, practical solutions that could empower parents to support their children's speech development with confidence.
Unable to find resources that truly understood families' daily challenges, I created a framework that makes speech practice both manageable and effective. Seeing children make faster progress and parents grow in confidence showed me this approach needed to be shared.
Now, I help families transform speech practice from a source of stress into a natural part of daily life, celebrating real improvements while actually enjoying the journey together.
My approach is simple but powerful: speech practice should fit naturally into your family's daily rhythm, not add to your stress.
Every child deserves to communicate with confidence, and every parent deserves to feel capable of supporting their child's journey. That's why I focus on creating practical, bite-sized activities that transform ordinary moments – from breakfast time to bedtime routines – into opportunities for growth.
What makes this work meaningful isn't just the progress children make; it's watching parents discover their own ability to make a difference. When families tell me they've found joy in practice time instead of pressure, that's when I know we're creating lasting change.
Where Expertise Meets Understanding
My journey in speech therapy isn't just about the credentials – though 25 years of experience, ASHA certification since 1999, and a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology tell part of the story. It's about the moments that shaped my approach to helping families thrive.
Working with over 600 students in school settings has taught me something crucial: success comes when we make speech therapy realistic and relatable. Being a mom of two boys showed me firsthand how important it is to create strategies that work in real life, not just in theory.
What sets my approach apart is the bridge between clinical expertise and practical application. I don't just understand speech development – I understand family life. I know that the best solutions are the ones that actually work in your daily routine, whether you're rushing to soccer practice or trying to get dinner on the table.
My commitment to continuing education keeps me at the forefront of speech therapy techniques, but it's my commitment to families that drives me to make these techniques accessible and achievable. I believe in creating resources that respect your time, honor your role as a parent, and celebrate every step of progress.
When families work with me, they're getting more than just speech exercises – they're getting a partner who understands both the science of speech development and the art of making it work in real life.

I believe every child deserves to share their thoughts confidently, and every parent deserves to feel empowered in supporting that journey.
Let me show you how small, intentional moments of practice can build your child's confidence today, while creating the foundation for clear, effective communication that will serve them for life.
Because this isn't just about pronouncing sounds correctly – it's about giving your child the gift of being heard, understood, and confident in expressing themselves. Together, we can transform daily routines into opportunities for growth, turning uncertainty into capability, and watching your child bloom into a confident communicator.
